Tractors with attachments and front end loader operations
Learn how to prepare for, operate and maintain tractor operations with attached equipment and to prepare for, carry out and shut down front-end loader operations in an agricultural environment.
Tractor operations with attachments
Working with tractors is an inherently dangerous activity. Individuals who work at this level must be thoroughly instructed in all health and safety in the workplace aspects of operating tractors with attachments.
Chainsaw – Trim Trees using a Polesaw
When a chainsaw is too big to carry up a ladder, and too dangerous to use while on the ladder, a pole saw is exactly the tool you need. But what sort of pole saw? And how do you use it safely? Tocal’s one-day course can help you get the most out of this useful tool.
Off road four wheel drive and recovery
Where can you take a 4WD? OK. Better question: where can you take a 4WD and then bring it back again? What trouble can you get into, and how do you get out of it? How do you prevent yourself getting into trouble? These questions and many more are covered in Tocal’s two-day 4x4 training course.
Chainsaw – Fell trees manually (intermediate)
You’ve been using a chainsaw for years, but you’ve got a couple of big, old trees on your property that you reckon are a bit above your skill level. Tocal can fix that in two days with this intermediate-level course.
